The staff at our Metabolic Testing and Performance Lab, at our Bellevue facility, is dedicated to helping you get the most from your efforts with scientific, state-of-the-art evaluations that define your metabolic profile, including:
- VO2 Max Testing - the gold standard for assessing cardiovascular health and fitness, this test provides the information necessary to make smart changes to training programs, intensity levels, diet and rest to maximize results.
- Resting Metabolic Rate Testing - a measurement of calories consumed by your body at rest. Knowing your body's daily caloric needs is crucial to maximizing your weight loss, overcoming plateaus, or for maintaining or even gaining weight.
- The Anaerobic Threshold (AT) - a key component of the VO2 Max test, this test shows you the point at which lactic acid begins to build up in the blood and exercise becomes anaerobic. This threshold is important in defining accurate heart rate training zones for improving endurance performance.
Taken together, these three evaluations - VO2 Max, Resting Metabolic Rate, and Anaerobic Threshold - will help you:

2.Develop personalized heart rate training zones based on your metabolic profile.
3.Pinpoint training zones that can be used to train your body to maximize caloric expenditure and more specifically train your body to utilize more fat calories during exercise.
Podiatry performance enhancing tests include:
- Motion Analysis - using state-of-the art software and video, this test examines your gait to assess efficiency and its impact on your joints
- F Scan- this computerized examination of the foot provides the information necessary to make the best shoe and orthotic choices for optimum health.
